What to Expect
 

This year’s Nisa Expo will be bigger and better with plenty of opportunities for engagement with our suppliers as well as Nisa and Co-op Colleagues.
 

Here’s what you can expect in 2021:

  • The popular Co-op led 'Category Talks' will return to the main stage

  • Be the first to see and learn about Nisa's latest format and category management development

  • Hear about the latest products from the suppliers via your pre-arranged one to one appointments – with no minimum or maximum number this year

  • Access to exclusive on the day deals

  • Panel discussions and live Q&As

  • Network with like-minded partners, share ideas and best practice

  • And find out if you’ve won a prestigious Nisa Award at our live awards event.

 

New for 2021

 

We’ve also made sure to include some improvements and new features for 2021 based on learnings from our first virtual expo last year:

  • An opportunity to take part in Nisa/supplier initiatives to help partners drive incremental growth in category

  • One to one appointments can now last up to 20 minutes to give you that extra time with Suppliers or Nisa Colleagues if you need it.  There’s also no minimum or maximum numbers so you can fit these in to suit you over the two live days.

  • You’ll be able to test your camera and microphone beforehand to avoid any technical issues on the day

  • Group appointments / focus groups will be available with some of our Platinum and Internal Nisa Suppliers where they will share presentations on NPD and valuable insight into their company and products

  • Earn rewards for time spent interacting with our event

  • Take part in live voting for some of our Partner Awards.

FAQs

When is the Nisa Expo 2021?
The live event days are Tuesday 28 and Wednesday 29  September.
 
How do I attend the event?
Once you have registered your place at the virtual expo, we will add you as a partner in the event portal. A week before the event we will send your log in details via email. You can then follow the link to the event portal.

What will be at the Virtual Expo?
The event portal will include main stage sessions, virtual exhibition stands and exclusive show only deals. Keep checking the website for a full list of our exhibiting suppliers.  You will also have the opportunity to make one-to-one appointments with suppliers,  and new for 2021, join supplier focus group sessions.  

How can an exhibition stand be virtual?
Each exhibitor will have their own stand page, including product/brand images, downloadable content and videos for you to learn more about them. Each stand will also feature a 'Contact Us' button so you can leave a message with the supplier.​

Do I have to have a laptop to access the event?
The event portal is compatible with laptops, tablets, and mobile devices. We would recommend using a laptop where possible to view the main stage content, virtual exhibition stands and one-to-one appointments in the best way.​
 
What is live chat?
It’s an instant chat function which allows you to chat to any attendee during the live event days – without booking an appointment.
 
How do I secure deals at the show?
Deals can be accessed via the Deals page, as well as via each supplier’s stand.  Deals ordering is open from 20 September until  5 October 2021.

What’s happening on the Stages?
The Nisa Stage will feature sessions run by Nisa and the Co-op and our new Supplier stage will feature presentations from our suppliers. Look out for more information about our annual awards ceremony and live Q&A sessions too.
 
How will I interact with suppliers?
Both partners and suppliers will have access to the platform ahead of the live event days where appointments for the live event days can be booked directly with one another.
 

How will the 1-2-1 appointments work?
It’s a bit like Zoom so please make sure your device has a camera and microphone. You’ll access one-to-one video calls with suppliers from your personalised calendar​. During these calls you’ll be able to discuss whatever you like with a representative from the virtual exhibition stand. You can also invite your colleagues to join the call, if you think it will be of interest to them too!
 
Can I meet with Nisa representatives during the event?
Nisa departments will also have their own exhibition stands and you can request one-to-one appointments from each stand in the Nisa area. You can also search for and chat with Nisa attendees via the chat function on the live days.

Does which Nisa terms I'm on affect my attendance?
Partners remaining on existing Rebate Terms (PDR, New Era & SGDF) will be required to attend the Expo and will be charge their annual Expo fee of £30 + VAT.
Fresh Rewards partners will not be charged a fee and their rebates won't be affected by non-attendance.
